Congress of the European Psychiatric Association (EPA 2018) will take place 3-6 March 2018 in the city of Nice, the dynamic, cosmopolitan, unofficial capital of the Côte d’Azur. EPA’s psychiatry Congress will bring together expert clinical psychiatrists, researchers and leaders of stakeholder organizations in the field of mental health.
The Congress motto is
Mental Health: Integrate, Innovate, Individualise
emphasises the need to include mental health in both health and social policies; promote the integration of different approaches to mental health care and research; integrate research and mental health services focusing on different life epochs.
MEET THE COMMITTEES
emphasises the importance of identifying priorities for mental health care and research; disseminating and promoting translation into standard practices of new successful prevention and intervention programs; developing e-mental health programs to improve service delivery and communication with users, and overcome spatial and linguistic barriers
emphasises the current view of mental health care and research as person-centred by matching therapeutic interventions with individual’s characteristics, values and preferences.

With active individual members in as many as 88 countries and 40 National Society/Association Members who represent over 78,000 European psychiatrists, the European Psychiatric Association is the main association representing psychiatry in Europe.
